What is Fordyce’s Disease?

A fairly common condition consisting of raised yellow patches on the lips and gums and in the lining of the mouth. The patches are composed of misplaced sebaceous glands.

The disease is also known as Fordyce’s granules. The condition is not serious and does not usually need treatment.
